China's plastic products industry produced 31.583 million tons in the first half of this year, up 1.6 percent year on year, according to data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Aug. 20.

From January to June 2018, the cumulative export delivery value of our plastic products industry has been 106.98 billion yuan, an increase of 2.3% on a year-on-year basis, and the cumulative production sales rate is 97.9%, down 0.3 percentage point on a year-on-year basis.

In terms of economic benefits, from January to June 2018, the cumulative main business income of plastic products manufacturers was 950.67 billion yuan, up 5.8% year on year; The total profit was 48.7 billion yuan, down 2.9 percent year-on-year.
